This webcam is 7 miles south of Roanoke, VA near the Blue Ridge Parkway. 

The picture is usually updated periodically, usually every 5 minutes (except at night, usually)

The pictures are from the webcam are aimed NE-SE which means you can see the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. If you see a wire, it's used with my amateur radio station N4BHM.
