Good Morning from Virginia Beach! A balmy wet morning at 57F and who'd have guessed it wasn't predicted to rain. I'm in awe of ya'll up there in AK and envious too. I really miss the snow and cold a lot. I was born in a little town in NY where temps are in the teens and snow is everywhere. Down here at the beach snow is very rare and somewhat undesired as driving on it takes practice and experience as ya'll know. I watch your web cam and I'm as green as the Aurora seeing what you have and I miss. Please enjoy it and thank God for the blessings. I'll keep watching and reading if ya'll don't mind. SkipV
lacy and noble street still confuse me dee. i'd better just stay out of downtown all together lol. imagine when they put that new bridge in over the chena!
Hi...I'm not sure of the proper forum at this time. So I was driving down Gaffney to make a left turn on Cushman. Twelve blocks down from this view. I was real concerned about opening that one stretch to two way traffic. But I was pleased to come up to the lighted sign on the corner warning that there is 'TWO WAY TRAFFIC'. I've lived here in Fairbanks about 30 years, I hope it doesn't take 30 years for me to get used to the change. I think I had to concentrate hard for about 2 years when they switched Lacey and Noble back to two way traffic.
