Meet Speedy, the painted turtle! Hatched in May 2003, Speedy lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The camera is mounted on top of his tank near the heat lamp. The view is looking straight down at the synthetic log that Speedy uses to "sun" himself. If you don't see Speedy in the picture, it means he was not "sunning" himself at the time and was either swimming around has tank or was out for a walk.
